This is my logo for the Aviary, it is very simple as my typefaces are quite over powering, and this is what ties them together, the spacing is far apart to resemble the bars of a cage that birds are kept in.

Here are all my DPS’s to my book, it has taken alot of time to get these right and perfect them, but I am very happy with the results and the final product is what I expected.

These are the posters I like the least, they just dont have the effect I want them to have. So yeah not happy with these I have another Idea but we’ll see if it looks better.

My favourite is the red one (the pigeons are fat enough) but I think this is because it has short worts so they can bigger so it fills up more space. My leaste favourite being the green one (they’re fat enough) because it has long words so there is more space but over all I do like the shades of colours.
Just showing the posters, even had ago at layering all the poster but this is too much.
Fat Pigeon Poster - Figuring out.
I have been trying to figure out what the best way to lay out the words for this typeface would be at first I started with the type being quite close together but this looked boring and left loads of space above and below. So I spaced it out more but this just looked gappy. For one the pages in my book I have the letteres close together even layering on top, and this worked well so I tried that and changed the shade of some of the letters so it is more readable and not just a blob, I think this works better. The bottom has the alphabet scatted to represent food scattered on the ground.
Posters for Poop typeface.
What i have found out whilst designing material for this typeface is that it doesn’t work with just one layer of letters but it needs to be layered up so it is not physically possible to read, for these posters i have left a phrase at the bottom of the type visible to under stand a snippet of what the text is about. I have also layered it out like bird poop a big clump then a small trickle as if it is leaking down.
